Today was a bit of a downer listening to admins who constantly want to see research about tech making teachers better.

It was a strange conversation as they tried to talk like they understand but clearly don't see a need for connectedness or much of technology.

They are quick to hold up a CFF banner, but a very lacking on what made CFF a success, the network of teachers who were given tools to improve their classroom and surrounded by supporters and peers in the same situation.

Keep the fires burning Lori, we need all the light we can get!

TyTy Yosthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00670785307811179384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-530644544169878833.post-87293866859676201212010-08-03T17:19:20.484-07:002010-08-03T17:19:20.484-07:00I couldn't agree more, Chris! But, certainly, teachers need to be shown tools and there is a time and place for the instruction of how to use the tool.Lorihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14437806807051199754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-530644544169878833.post-10334351292857464952010-08-03T17:11:53.236-07:002010-08-03T17:11:53.236-07:00I agree it's not about the technology - but I ...I agree it's not about the technology - but I still think if we can teach a "tool", that teachers can "see" how it would work in their classrooms.

Or maybe that's just me.Chris Championhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09520800289748179273noreply@blogger.com
